Pole lathe bowl turning (2 days)

A two day bowl turning class is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the experience of use of a Pole Lathe. During this class you will learn to safely axe out your own bowl blank, and then using the lathe turn a wooden bowl. Students will have ample time to complete a good size eating bowl, with the potential to start or complete a second one.

In this class we will also cover sourcing wood, sharpening turning tools, and more.

All tools & materials will be provided by the instructor,Raleigh Klotzek

. If you have your own tools please bring them (carving axe, hook knife, turning tools.)

The classes take place on Saturday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm & Sunday from 9:30 am to approximately 4:00 pm.

If you would like to order tools and pole lathe centers please order them at www.wildcraftedhome.com and select pick up and Raleigh will bring them to class (anything else ordered from our web shop can also be brought to the course). She will have some extra sets of tools with her for purchase on site.
